PRESIDENT
Mike
Defee was elected President of the Beaumont Chapter in November
2007. Mike has been officiating football games
since 1996. Mike is the manager of electrical construction
company Goldcrest Electric. Mike is a BackJudge in the Big XII
Conference and worked the Big XII Championship game in 2007. Mike
is married with grown children and lives in the Groves.

VICE-PRESIDENT
Jess
Matthews was elected Vice-President of the Beaumont Chapter
in November 2007. Jay has been
officiating football games since 1997. Jay is the owner of
Matthews Farms in Winnie. He is married and lives in Winnie
and Bellville. Jay will also serve as the Beaumont Chapter's
sub-varsity master scheduler in 2008.

ASSIGNMENT SECRETARY
Ronnie Ford was
elected Assignment Secretary of the Beaumont Chapter in November 2007.
Ronnie is
responsible for all football officiating assignments within the Beaumont
Chapter. Ron is the principal contact for the chapter from
the schools served by the chapter and the UIL. Ron has been a member of the Beaumont Chapter since
1989. Ron works for GE-Betz in Beaumont, is married, and lives in
Beaumont. Ron has been an official in the SWAC, Southland
Conference, and NIFL.

BUSINESS SECRETARY
James
Roberson was elected Business Secretary of the Beaumont Chapter in November
2007. James is
responsible for all business and administrative matters of the Beaumont
Chapter. James is the principal contact for the chapter from
the TASO. James fulfills essentially the same role for the
Beaumont Chapter TASO-Baseball. James has been a member of the Beaumont Chapter
TASO-Football since 1997. James works for J.S. Edwards &
Sherlock in Beaumont, is married, and lives in Beaumont.

IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT
The Immediate Past President is a voting member of
the chapter board of directors for the first year after the person in
the President job changes.
Gary L. Downey stepped down from the Chapter President position
in November 2007. Gary has been officiating since
1980. Gary is self-employed with Heaven Bound Tours. Gary is
married with grown children, and lives in Kingwood near Humble, TX.

IMMEDIATE PAST SECRETARY
The Immediate Past Secretary is a voting member of
the chapter board of directors for the first year after the person in
the Secretary job changes.
Geoffrey W.
Kret stepped down from the Chapter Secretary-Treasurer position
in November 2007. Geoff is in his 30th year of football
officiating with the Beaumont Chapter. Geoff is a Mechanical Engineer,
working as a Rotating Equipment Engineer at the TOTAL Petrochemicals
Complex in Port
Arthur. Geoff is married with grown children, and lives in Pinewood near Sour Lake.

MEMBER-AT-LARGE
Ronnie Shilo
was elected to serve as the
At-Large Representative in November 2007 after serving a previous term
as Division V Representative. Ronnie began officiating
football in 2003. Ronnie is employed by GHX (Bayou Gasket) in
Beaumont. Ronnie is married with grown children and lives in
Beaumont.

Division I Representative
Don
Mosca was elected
Division I Representative in November 2007. Don has officiated football
for the Beaumont Chapter since 1973. Don works for Gexpro/GE Supply
in Beaumont. Don is married with grown children and resides in
Nederland.

Division II Representative
Gregory P. Sims was reelected the
Division II representative in November 2005 after serving four
consecutive terms as Div I Rep and as lower division reps. Greg
began officiating football games in 1997. Greg is a counselor
at Port Neches-Groves High School. He is married to Maria Sims and
has 2 children. His children attend the PN-G school
district. The Sims’ reside in Port Neches.

Division III Representative
Thomas
Gage was elected the Division IV representative in November 2005
and was reelected as the Div III representative in 2007.
Thomas began officiating football in 2004. Thomas is retired from
Arkema Petrochemicals in Beaumont. He is married to Shari Gage and
lives in Port Arthur.

Division IV Representative
Robert Tuck
was elected the Division V representative in November 2005 and was elected
again to the board of directors in 2007 as the Div IV rep.. Robert
began officiating football in 2005. Robert is employed by the Social
Security Administration. He is married to Jacinda Tuck and lives in
Northwest Forest near Beaumont.

Timothy Spikes was
elected the Division V representative in November 2007. Tim works
for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Tim is married with a
son who attends WO-S High School, and lives in Bridge City.
