Chapter NEWS:

Plan on attending the TASO State Football Meeting in Abilene on July 11,12, 13.

Chapter meetings start Monday, July 21.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT DUE TO HOMELAND SECURITY REASONS, THE MEETINGS WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO BE HELD AT THE JEFFERSON COUNTY COURTHOUSE.
Please plan on attending at our new meeting location at the IBEW Union Hall on Spindletop Drive on the south side of Beaumont.

The Chapter Board of Directors web page has been updated to reflect the new board.

It is with sadness that we note that football official, baseball umpire, and friend Sam Maida passed away the first week in February.  Please remember Sam's family in this trying time.

2008 Dues were due before January 21.   Dues are now late and REINSTATEMENT will be required. Contact your Administrative Secretary, James Roberson, for payment options.

Click on FOOTBALL to find the link.  The FILLABLE form can be filled out on your computer and then printed for a very neat copy.  The PRINTABLE form can be printed as a blank form and data written in by hand.  SIGNED FORMS MUST BE INCLUDED WITH YOUR DUES TO BE A MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING.

IMPORTANT (constitutionally prescribed) DATES TO NOTE:
January 21, 2008 - Dues submission deadline to avoid reinstatement
March 1, 2008 - Crew Chief notification for 2008
April 1, 2008 - Crew Member submission deadline to gain reserved status
July 21, 2008 - first chapter business meeting of 2008
July 28, 2008 - deadline for crew chief application for the 2009 season
August 1, 2008 - Members not in Good Standing barred from varsity game assignments

By constitutional requirement:  all crews are dissolved at the end of each season for member movement purposes.  See the dates noted above for crew membership deadlines.
